    A Man’s Toy

Went to Dallas last weekend for a friend’s wedding.  Been busy through out the week.  I finally got a chance to fiddle around with my newly arrived toys.

Onkyo TX-SR 706 7.1 AV Receiver (100 watt per channel)
Polkaudio Tsi400 High Performance Floorstanding Speakers
Polkaudio CS10 High Performance Center Speaker
    Polkaudio PSW 110 Subwoofer
Polkaudio OWM3 Rear Surround Sound Speakers

All ordered online with no tax and shipping and handling charges plus a free pair of OWM3 with Polkaudio’s promotion – A better deal comparing to getting them from local stores such as Fry’s.

    My setup…

My house is pre-wired for 5.1 surround sound setup, so there is not a lot of hassle setting up the two rear surround sound speakers.  However I need to tune out the wires and mount the two OWM3 speakers high up near where the pre-wire spots are.  Turns out … my ladder is short.  I need to at least a six foot ladder to get the job done.

OWM3 Speakers and the Omni 10.0 mount gears.

The two white wall plates are where the OWM3’s are going.

    Looks like it’ll be a busy week :o)  It’s my new project…
